Just took my butterflies off the Aygo as faded and found the best way was to pour almost boiling water over then the sticker peeled off leaving glue behind. Then used car polish, a cloth and plenty of elbow grease and the residue lifted off. No damage to the paintwork (bearing in mind it has been factory painted). All ready to put some new ones on!
