I have asked a similar question on other forums, but in case you missed it.

Either

If VW's are more popular than they were can you explain why?

Or

If VW's are less popular, whats the reason behind that do you think?

Not really understanding the question Sharon, do you mean old VWs being more popular now or VWs in general

i`d say without doubt campervans are more popular
not sure about beetles tho ??

if beetles are less popular, i`d say its because people have changed over to campers - plus of course, 10 years ago there where still a lot of beetles and campers `survived`and still in use....ten years on and you dont find many unrestored and still in use cars

10 years ago a beetle was a cheap alternative car option...now, TBH, thats now a mk2 polo of golf, and the beetles have moved into the classic arena

Hello Guys,

I guess I mean.. do you think VW as a 'scene'
i.e VW festivals is a growth industry?

I guess I am trying to undertand if you feel that more people
want to hit the highway and go camping with other VW owners
compared to say 10 years ago?

This could include the newer vans in theory as they often come in tandem with the older vans, especially if someone owns a westy,
but then also have the more 'comfortable' newer option as well.

As a 'mobile camping' movement....is it on the up?

xx
