There is few patches of lettering I've found Gary, possible more if I hadn't been so dam heavyhanded with the old sandpaper. I'm hoping when I get the rest off, a few more pieces it might make sense, just like been on countdown.
When I get it all off I don't want to leave it all patchy blue tho, I know that sort of look is all the rave mo, but I've got to think of my neighbours they have to sit in their living rooms looking out at it all day.

Wheels are old yanky daisy mags Steve I'm not keen on them in white, the other pair are still rusty knarly chrome and look a lot meaner, I think they would look better dark grey possibly.

Here a few pics of the recycled interior for all you antique dealers out there who like the smell of bees wax

Quick update.

Been busy bee last few months doing all the underside work to get it ship shape and then get a good coat of waxoil.
Been buying & collecting various parts and trinkets.

Contiuned rubbing the paint removal back to original light blue, or what was left of it.

Me no likey the patchwork effect, so its in the process over get a thin blow over with the original colour light blue leaving all the bumps and scraps which I likey.

My plans at the moment is to get it a single base colour the original light blue which I don't like, and then get get couple of coats of a darker blue which I likey. That's the colour on the side panel door bottoms before the mahogany brown.

Then I want to start giving it all a rub down again so I end up with a well worn used looking van. Possible not as well worn as the mahogany brown " Dusty road trucker " look of before tho.

And if I don't like it, it will take very little to put it back to as it was.

if you do alternate thin coats of colour and then rub back through given the nature of bodywork will rub through differently in different areas then laquer
