Hood is TMI I believe I think the caperts are harrington and the hood cover is german

Ok took the FI engine out and stripped it down got all tin work powder coated etc and cleaned it up managed to get a set of twin carbs also ,

Fired it up the other day and it is very sweet original engine only had 67k on it

Also fitted new engine seals

and its all pretty solid under the arches

Managed to get screen in this was an pig to fit 2thanks to Paul helping me otherwise i would never of got it in .
got a few other bits done getting ready to put motor in
changed the gearbox oil not a nice job !!

Well got a bit more done now
thanks to Paul coming and giving me a lift with the engine in !!!

just need to connect up fuel lines connect heater boxes up

Also connected reversing lights up this is a first for me to have them working on a beetle
just starting to fit stereo and found a small light in the dash that suppose to light up the heater controls rather novel

I am just waiting for a set of seats now that my mate Peter is picking up for me today from an Audi TT
and a set of carpets

so when they are fitted time for MOT

OK its been a while since I updated my build of my 78 03
I have got a bit of work done hood is all fitted inner and outer scrapers and windows , all lined up

Also I have fitted a copy Kamei centre console and added some gauges also I have some heated seat switches also to put into the console


Fitted Audi TT front and rear seats as I had know interior at all with this project they fit really well and far cheaper than an original rear seat they only cost me £150 and all leather
